For the record, I DO NOT LIKE IN-N-OUT. Sorry for the scream but I need to emphasize that as I find myself eating In-N-Out often even though I don't like it (mother is a big fan). When I was young, after school I would eat In-N-Out as a school time snack so often that I got tired of it and didn't like the taste. Heck, to begin with, I never liked the taste. I mean the fries are so bland and have a strange texture. However, it wasn't until recently that I decided to explore some secret menu items that I haven't had before and now, it's decent. Not my favorite as I'm a Shake Shack person all the way but it's bearable. I think the biggest thing to me about defaulting to In-N-Out is the price. I'm not like those people who can spend everything on food or want to spend everything on food. Although it would be nice, that's not in my budget. Therefore, my life (and food) is based on a budget so I have to think wisely on my expenses and one of the biggest expenses we have is food. In-N-Out is quite affordable and good for the price considering everything is fresh and made to order, which I appreciate. Going back to the secret menu items that I discovered recently which made me somewhat like In-N-Out, it would have to be very simple (and it's cheap too!). I tried a veggie burger with no spread and onions and it was good. I admit, I'm a big fan of the buns; they're so soft and fluffy. Also, I had well done fries which are way better than the regular fries. They're crunchier and have more texture.
Other menu items that are good too are a root beer float and a neopolitan shake. No animal fries for me.
