Quick blog post for the night.
I made a post about biscuits a while ago and I decided to post an update on what I think is a good biscuit. Biscuits screams the south to me and I love southern food. Southern food is my favorite food and I always wanted to know how to make biscuits. I thought it was hard but it turns out, it's really easy and comes together in no time. I experimented with a lot of different combinations of times and ingredients and these biscuits yield a nice dough with a mild flavor. You can increase or decrease the time in the oven based on how you like your biscuit - more time in the oven means crispier but it's drier. Ingredients (makes 6 biscuits): - 2 cups flour - 2 t baking powder - 1/2 t salt - 1 T sugar - 6 T butter - almost 3/4 cup whole milk - buttermilk reaching to 3/4 cup
