About Tiff
I've always wanted to be a blogger but never thought that I would go into food blogging.
Ever since I was young, I loved fashion and knew that I wanted to do something in fashion. When I was in high school, I had the idea of becoming a pharmacist for the $$ since I didn't have a lot growing up but had no true interest in it. Going into college, I was a chemistry major but really didn't do well in the classes as I was too busy focusing on clothes. I switched my major to Business Administration when I transferred schools and had no area of concentration as it didn't interest me; at this point, I still wanted to go into fashion so that's the whole reasoning behind that decision. All I knew was that a major in business is a solid education to have so I went for it. After graduating, I applied to tons of fashion jobs in New York since that's where I wanted to live and launched a fashion blog. Nothing worked out so I ended up taking food/retail jobs while figuring out what my next plan is.
I went to an elementary school reunion and one of my classmates told me that he is a food blogger and I became interested in that he got to eat at restaurants for free. I never knew that a world like this exists. After some time of debating whether or not I would try it out due to the competition and possibility of it not working, I went for it. I first started my Instagram in 2016 and launched my food blog in 2018 to have a space for lengthy posts (this is my new food blog as I think Weebly is faster than Wix.)
When I look at snacks, I always check reviews first before buying. I felt that there were not enough reviews of the snacks that I wanted to try. That led me to starting a food blog apart from my Instagram, where I mostly show my foodventures. Here, I also feature quick, easy, and simple recipes. I love traveling to new places to try different and new food chains/franchises and want to do so more in the future.
Thank you for reading and learning more about me and my background of how tiffitastes got started. Here's to food, health, and happiness!
